

Dr Eng. Emmanuel Karapidakis
Dr Emmanuel Karapidakis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of National Technical University of Athens. His Doctoral Thesis introduced a contribution for on-line preventive stability for power systems with high RES penetration. He was Director of MSc Energy Systems and Head of Renewable Energy Engineering Lab at Technological Educational Institute of Crete till 2019.
Currently, he is Professor and Dean at School of Engineering in Hellenic Mediterranean University. He has written three (4) chapters in international scientific books. He has published seventy (70) papers in International Journals; as well as more than fifty (50) presentations and proc papers in international conferences.
He is/was scientific coordinator of twelve (12) European financed projects, seven (7) National programees and more than twenty (20) private funded projects. His reserch interest focuses on Energy Policy, Power Systems Operation, Diverse & Dispersed Generation, Micro-Grids, Renewable Energy Sources, and Energy Management Systems.
